Gently used items go directly to families, schools, and partner organizations whenever possible.
Responsible recycling
Items that can’t be redistributed are recycled to reduce waste and support community initiatives.
Why it matters
Clothing insecurity affects school, work, and confidence. At the same time, textile waste is piling up in landfills. Community Handoff tackles both by keeping clothing in circulation and supporting families first.

In five years, we want every family in our service areas to have reliable access to affordable clothing through our programs.

What we accept
